Tooth Colored Fillings
A composite resin restoration is a filling
that is tooth-colored used to repair teeth that are decayed,
chipped, cracked or broken. The affected portion of the tooth
will be removed and then filled with a composite filling. Resin
materials can also be used as “bonding” to reshape and recontour
teeth. These composite resin fillings maintain a more natural
look than traditional metal fillings. The material actually
“bonds” to the channels inside the tooth which diminishes the
chance of leakage and recurrent decay.
